1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering on the Bihar Teacher Mutual Transfer Portal ("the Portal"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Eligibility
The Portal is available exclusively to serving government school teachers in Bihar. You must provide accurate and truthful information.
3. Purpose
The Portal facilitates discovery of mutual transfer partners. It does not guarantee, process, or approve any transfer.
4. User Responsibilities
- Provide correct UDISE code, designation, subject, and district information.
- Do not create multiple accounts.
- Do not misuse the platform to harass other teachers.
- Keep your contact information up to date.
5. Payments
Unlocking a matched teacher's profile requires a one-time fee of ₹49. Payments are processed via Razorpay and are non-refundable once a profile is unlocked.
6. No Guarantee of Transfer
A match does not constitute approval of any transfer. Follow the official process through your District Education Office (DEO).
7. Limitation of Liability
The Portal is provided "as is." We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from its use.
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 1 April 2025
1. Information We Collect
- Mobile number and email address
- Name, gender, Teacher ID
- Current school, UDISE code, district, designation, subject
- Preferred transfer districts and blocks
- Payment transaction IDs (for profile unlocks via Razorpay)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To match you with teachers in your preferred districts.
- To display your profile (district, designation only) until another teacher unlocks full details.
- To send password reset and notification emails.
- To process payments and maintain unlock records.
3. What Other Users Can See
- Before unlock: Only district, designation, and teacher category.
- After unlock (₹49): Your full name, current school, and mobile.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share only with Razorpay for payment processing, or as required by law.
5. Data Security
Passwords are bcrypt-hashed. Sessions are encrypted, HTTP-only, and use strict mode.
